Hi friends,
March always arrives with a subtle shift in the air. The days stretch a little longer, the ground begins to soften, and something in the body remembers that change is coming.
This year that feeling feels especially close to home.
On March 12th I turn 33.
Each year of my life seems to reveal a little more magic than the last. Not always in loud or obvious ways, but in quieter moments. In the way my relationship with the world keeps deepening. In the way the path keeps unfolding just enough to take the next step.
Lately, that path has been leading me somewhere new.
Up in the Sierra Nevada foothills, life has begun to take on a different rhythm. Mornings feel slower. The land asks for attention. The quiet holds space for bigger dreams to take shape. It’s here that I’ve begun laying the foundations for my own business and continuing the work of building something meaningful through The Tilted Hill.
Thirty three feels like a year of foundations.
Foundations for the spaces I want to create.Foundations for the communities I hope to gather.Foundations for a life that feels deeply aligned with the land, the work, and the people I love.
As I step into this next year around the sun, I find myself calling in three things: community, compassion, and curiosity.
Community to remind us we were never meant to do this alone.
Compassion for the parts of ourselves still learning and growing.
Curiosity to keep exploring what’s possible.
And of course, movement, breath, and moments of connection along the way.
Here’s what March is holding.
Public Classes
Tuesdays at 10:00 AM
Wednesdays at 6:00 PM (Continuing into spring!)
Every 1st Sunday at 9 A
Old Skool Iron (March Vinyasa - Hanumanasan)
These classes have been such a beautiful meeting point between strength training and mindful movement. Each week we explore mobility, stability, and the kind of strength that supports us both in and outside the gym.
Senior Strength
Tuesdays and Thursdays at 12:30pm El Dorado In Shape
These classes are some of the most inspiring spaces I step into each week. Focused on mobility, balance, and sustainable strength, they’re a reminder that movement is something we get to cultivate for a lifetime.
Move and Flow + Birthday Gathering
March 22The Green Room, Downtown Placerville
To celebrate this new year around the sun, I’ll be hosting a little gathering.
We’ll begin with yoga at 11:30, creating space to move, breathe, and arrive in the body. From there the room will slowly shift into celebration.
DJ Scotty Scribbles takes over at 1 PM
Boot scootin until 3
Pull on your boots, bring your sparkle, and come share the afternoon.

What’s rooting
This spring I’ll also be sharing more glimpses into life at The Tilted Hill.
Expect weekly livestreams from the land, quiet moments of practice, and little windows into the rhythm of life up here in the foothills.
It’s still early days, but something beautiful is beginning to take shape.
Guided Sauna Sessions
I'll soon be offering guided evening unwind sessions at Placerville Sauna.
Tuesdays at 6:45 PM
These gatherings weave together breath, sound, and stillness to help the nervous system settle and restore. It’s been such a beautiful container for slowing down and reconnecting.

Looking Ahead to April
April 19 Move and Bloom
The Green Room
We’ll gather for yoga, a plant swap, raffles, and community connection as we celebrate Earth Day.
This gathering will also mark the launch of the El Dorado LGBTQIA Solidarity Fund, a grassroots effort rooted in supporting our local queer and ally community in times of need.
