Welcome to AxlYoga: A Love Letter to the Real Ones

Hey friends - old, new, and somewhere in between,

Let’s cut to it: I’m ridiculously excited (and only mildly freaking out) to welcome you to AxlYoga.

This wasn’t some long-held master plan. I didn’t manifest it on a vision board in 2017. This is something that felt right. Right now. The kind of gut-level, soul-nudging clarity that said, "It’s time to build something that’s mine. Something honest. Something expansive."

So here we are.

AxlYoga is a piece of me. It’s sweat and stillness. Strength and softness. A place where you can fall out of a pose, laugh about it, and still feel like you belong. It’s about real people, doing real-life yoga, in real human bodies, with all the weird, wild, wonderful stuff that comes with them.

If you’ve known me since my cycle coach or strength training days (yes, I still do weird things in the gym), you already know I’ve always believed in movement as medicine. But somewhere along the way, I realized what I really crave (and what I want to create) is connection. Community. A space that isn’t about perfect poses or curated spirituality, but about showing up exactly as you are and being met there with love and breath and probably a little sweat.

AxlYoga is built on the belief that transformation doesn’t always look like a breakthrough moment on a mountaintop. Sometimes, it’s just remembering to exhale. Sometimes it’s finally making it to your mat after a hellish Tuesday. Sometimes, it’s laughing in pigeon pose because your hip has some things to say.

My vision is to grow this space in a way that feels human. Honest. Heart-forward. I’m here to serve, to teach, to hold space, and to keep finding new ways to come home. Home to myself, to this work, to this practice, and to you.

So whether you’re practicing with me 1:1, showing up to a group class, coming on retreat, or just clicking around with curiosity, you’re already part of it. And I’m so damn glad you’re here.
